After creating a BoxPay payment link, you have various methods to share it with your end customers, facilitating payment acceptance without the need for an online store.
Notify via email
You have the option to share the payment link with the target customer via email by checking the ‘Notify via Email’ option while creating the payment link from the Merchant dashboard or by setting ‘notifyViaEmail’ to true when creating the payment link using the API. This will trigger an email to be sent to the target customer, requesting payment on your behalf.
Copy and share your payment link
You can utilise the Merchant Dashboard to copy your payment link and share it online. You can simply click on the copy icon next to an existing link on the “Payment Links” page. You can then share your payment link multiple times and across various online platforms, including emails, text messages, and social media.
Generate and share a QR code
You can generate a QR code for a payment link in the Merchant Dashboard. Select an existing link from the “Payment Links” page or create a new link, then click on the QR code option. You can copy or download an image of the QR code.
It’s crucial to highlight that the QR code itself doesn’t have an expiration. However, if the underlying payment link has expired, scanning the QR code will result in redirection to an expired payment link page.
