As per NPCI circular, UPI Collect payment method will be deprecated by 28th February 2026. Merchants are strongly advised to disable UPI Collect from their payment methods using below step to ensure that customer experience is not impacted –
- Login to your BoxPay merchant account using Merchant Portal – https://merchant.boxpay.in/
- Click to Configurations option from side bar on left side.
- In the Payment Gateway table, click on Edit icon for the configurations where UPI is displayed under Payment Categories column as shown below –
- In Edit Payment Methods modal, go to UPI tab and toggle off UPI Collect as shown below –
- Once UPI Collect is disabled, click on Save button to save the changes.
Please note that UPI QR and UPI Intent are still available and must NOT be disabled if enabled in your account.
